Cycling through Walcheren – via the junction network

Walcheren is ideal for exploring by bike. Thanks to the cycle junction network, you can easily create your own route. Cycle along the coast, through the dunes, and through picturesque villages like Veere, Zoutelande, Domburg, and Oostkapelle. Along the way, you'll find plenty of benches, terraces, and viewpoints.

The routes are well signposted, largely car-free and flat, ideal for seniors and recreational cyclists.

Beach and sea nearby

From the apartment, you're just a short walk from the Vlissingen boulevard, where you can almost reach out and touch the large ocean-going vessels. The beaches of Dishoek, Zoutelande, and Westkapelle are also a short distance away.

Enjoy a long walk on the beach, lunch at a pavilion or just relax with your feet in the sand.

Walking and nature

• Middelburg – the historic capital of Zeeland with charming terraces, beautiful old buildings, the Zeeuws Museum and the Abbey, and countless charming boutiques. Take a canal cruise and admire all those beautiful facades from the water.
• Veere - picturesque harbour town on the Veerse Meer
• Vlissingen - discover the muZEEum, the boulevard, the harbor and the charming old town center.

There's a relaxed atmosphere everywhere. You can stroll around peacefully, enjoy a cup of coffee in a square, or pop into a local shop.
