General terms and conditions and house rules

Welcome to Strandloper Vlissingen! We hope your stay in our apartment is pleasant and relaxing.

To make this as pleasant as possible for our guests, we have drawn up a number of terms and conditions and house rules. These are intended to prevent misunderstandings and ensure the quality of your stay.


General terms and conditions

Arrival & Departure

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Please check out by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. We can sometimes be flexible upon request – just let us know.


Booking & Payment

When booking, we require a 30% deposit of the total rental amount. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. For bookings within 30 days, the entire amount is due in full.


Cancellation policy

We understand that plans can change. Therefore, we have the following cancellation policy:


  • Up to 60 days before arrival: free cancellation.
  • Between 60 and 30 days before arrival: 50% of the rental amount will be charged.
  • Within 30 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the rental amount will be charged.
  • Is there an urgent reason to cancel (e.g., illness or family circumstances)? Please always contact us. We're happy to help.
  • Take out cancellation insurance.


House rules

Smoking

The apartment is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside on the terrace, but please ensure it doesn't disturb others.


Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. This is to keep the apartment clean and allergy-free for our guests.


Rust & Respect

Enjoy your stay, but please be considerate of your neighbors. We request silence outside the apartment between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.


Use of the apartment

No more than two registered guests are allowed in the apartment. Visitors are welcome during the day, but parties and gatherings are not permitted.


Injury

We've done our utmost to create a high-quality apartment for our guests. We therefore ask that you handle this carefully.

If damage has occurred, would you like to report it?


Cleaning

We ask our guests to leave the apartment tidy. Empty the dishwasher, put the garbage in the outside bin, put glass in the glass container, put furniture and inventory in their original places, and vacuum if necessary.
